More than 80 sportsmen
from 9 countries applied for participating in the
International Masters World Championship in Nordic
Combined and Ski jumping
The 24th World Championship in Nordic Combined and
Ski jumping will be held in Chaikovsky, March 3-9,
2013. The sportsmen from Finland, Russia, Germany,
Ukraine, Slovenia, Great Britain, the Check Republic,
Norway and Switzerland expressed their wish to participate

Gruber and Lodwick first
winners of Nordic Combined Summer Grand Prix
Berni Gruber (AUT) and Todd Lodwick (USA) won the
first competitions of the Nordic Combined Summer
Grand Prix held in Sochi (RUS) from 21st to 22nd
July. Gruber showcased his good shape by winning
the Ski Jumping events of both competitions. In
Saturday’s Cross-Country event, he started with
a 7-second advantage ahead of Akito Watabe (JAP)
and managed to finish 4.3 seconds ahead of Lodwick

training
After a very successful last winter, the Slovenian
national team returned back to the hills again this
week. Except Jernej Damjan, the team of head coach
Goran Janus made the first jumps of the season on
