than 80 sportsmen from 9 countries applied for participating
in the International Masters World Championship
in Nordic Combined and Ski jumping
The 24th World Championship
in Nordic Combined and Ski jumping will be held
in Chaikovsky, March 3-9, 2013. The sportsmen from
Finland, Russia, Germany, Ukraine, Slovenia, Great
Britain, the Check Republic, Norway and Switzerland
expressed their wish to participate in the competition.
According to the old tradition the host country
can be presented by a greater number of sportsmen.
Russia will use this possibility as our team was
successful at the previous championship that took
place in the Russian Federation in 1998. The Russian
team got 38 medals out of 32 sets of medals then.
The Organization Committee has also got confirmation
from 25 representatives from Saint Petersburg, Murmansk
and Karelia so far. The team from Finland will be
presented by 46 sportsmen.
About 300 sportsmen from 22 countries used to take
part in the World championships.
