Jacqueline Seifriedsberger crashed in training - FIS
Bad news for Jacqueline Seifriedsberger: The Austrian suffered a serious knee injury during her fall in the training in Hinterzarten.
The 22-year-old of the ski club in Waldzell was diagnosed with an ACL tear in her right knee and a meniscul injury.
Seifriedsberger was already transferred to Innsbruck last night where she will undergo surgery today.
With this injury, the bronze medalist of the World Championships in Val di Fiemme will be sidelined for a couple of months and miss the Olympic premiere of ladies' ski jumping in Sochi.
