Difficult weather conditions with strong wind and
slight snowfall made in impossible to carry out
the second competition in Kuusamo.
The jury already had to cancel the qualification
this afternoon and so all 76 athletes were taking
part in the competition at 5:00 pm CET.
But the conditions didn't get any better in the
evening and so it was decided already shortly after
the beginning of the first round that there would
be no final round today.
With freezing temperatures and the strong wind it
remained difficult during the course of the round
for everyone involved and numerous breaks were necessary.
After about one and a half hours and 37 jumpers
the jury then finally decided to cancel the competition.
