Team Poland on the way to Nizhny
Tagil - Instagram
The new social media ticker on berkutschi.com gives
a weekly overview over the internet-activities of
the ski jumping stars. With a wink.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. are part of our
everyday life. That's the same for sports stars.
Also ski jumpers from all over the world share at
least a bit of their private life with the fans.
Some more, some less.
New hill, new adventures: A lot of athletes were
posting about the first ever World Cup in Nizhny
Tagil. Maciej Kot was one of them. The Pole told
about the adventurous trip to the Urals via Instagram.
At least the Polish could always keep an eye on
the luggage during the 160 km bus ride.
On their way to Nizhny Tagil, the teams had a stopover
in Moscow. And what did they do there? Exactly:
Waiting. This also applies for Gregor Schlierenzauer
and his Austrian teammates. Not that exciting, but
still worth a post on Facebook.
Noriaki Kasai took a long trip as well. But to Russia,
he went home to Japan instead. There he wants to
prepare himself for the 4-Hills-Tournament – and
have a good night's sleep. At least a photo taken
at the World Cup in Lillehammer leads to believe
that. It was posted on Facebook. There the 42-year-old
took a nap before his jump. As the saying goes:
'In tranquillity lies the key to strength'
Always worth a look are the social media channels
of the 4-Hills-Tournament. The fans are kept up-to-date
on Facebook and twitter. Latest news: The snow production
already started. It's time for the 4-Hills-Tournament
in about two weeks. We are looking forward to it!
