Daniela Iraschko-Stolz has returned to the hill
and was able to start ski jumping training again
this week after a break of several months due to
a knee injury.
The 30-year-old, who suffered a meniscus injury
during training in Seefeld last February, was taking
part in a training camp of the Austrian team in
Villach and made her first jumps of the season there.
"It feels very good to be back on the hill
again. I don't feel any pain and can do full jumping
training sessions. If it continues like that I will
be able to train for next season almost normally",
the silver medalist of the Winter Games in Sochi
is quoted in a media release of the Austrian Ski
Association.
And there's more good news for Daniela Iraschko-Stolz:
She now also finished her police training. "After
some time of learning I can now fully focus on training
again."
