The Czech summer Championships were held under midsummer
conditions on Saturday afternoon on the normal hill
in Liberec.
Roman Koudelka won the title there with two consistent
jumps on 99 m and 99.5 m. "I had a lot of room
for improvement in my jumps today. I'm happy that
I can jump far even with bad jumps but I still have
a lot of work to do. At the competitions in Wisla
next week I'll see where I stand compared to the
international competition", the winner said
on czech-ski.com.
Veteran Jakub Janda, who made the decision to continue
his career after last season, came in second with
95 m and 97 m. The third place surprisingly went
to Martin Cikl. Jan Matura, Lukas Hlava and Cestmir
Kozisek came in fourth, fifth and sixth.
Michaela Dolezelova won the ladies' competition
ahead of Barbora Blazkova and Karolina Indrackova.
