Changes in the coaching staff are made not only
for the Austrians men's team, but also for the ladies
before the start of the new season. Former world
class jumper Andreas Felder is the successor of
Harald Rodlauer as head coach of the team.
"I'm looking forward to this task. I've already
experienced a lot as a coach and worked with young
athletes and also national teams but coaching ladies
is new for me. This is a big challenge and I'm looking
forward to it", Andreas Felder said in a media
release of the Austrian Ski Association.
The 52-year-old former overall World Cup winner
and World Champion is already working as a coach
since 1992 and was already head coach of the Austrian
men's ski jumping team (1995 - 1997) and the nordic
combined team (2000 - 2006). Recently Andreas Felder
was working with the Tyrolean Ski Association.
