Thomas Morgenstern has recovered from his serious
fall in Titisee-Neustadt (GER) and will be able
to compete in the 62nd 4-Hills-Tournament starting
on Saturday in Oberstdorf.
But the 27-year-old former 4-Hills winner will be
dependent on help. Due to his broken finger, he
is not able to close the bindings and boots so physical
therapist Herbert Leitner will assist him at the
start.
Morgenstern was named to the Autrian team of head
coach Alexander Pointner together with Gregor Schlierenzauer,
Wolfgang Loitzl, Andreas Kofler, Michael Hayboeck,
Stefan Kraft and Thomas Diethart.
"My goals are four great competitions, various
podium finishes and, if possible, winning the 4-Hills-Tournament
for the sixth time", said Pointner.
