Ema Klinec, Line Jahr and Jessica Jerome: The top
three at the Conintental Cup on Sunday in Lillehammer
were the same as on Saturday, only the positions
changed a bit.
After her clear win yesterday, Ema Klinec was also
unbeatable in the second competition in Norway.
The young Slovene was again the best in both rounds
with 91 m and 90 m and took the win with 228.5 points.
"My jumps were pretty much the same than yesterday.
They were good, but I still have to work on it so
I can achieve good results in winter as well. It's
a funny hill here, but I got used to it and now
I think it's okay", told Klinec.
Local hero Line Jahr could move up one place compared
to Saturday's competition and came in second with
two jumps on 83.5 m (200.5 points).
Also Jessica Jerome was on the podium again. The
US American finished third with 83 m and 85 m (198.5
points).
Not only the Top 3 were almost the same as yesterday,
also the jumpers on the places four and five were
the same, they just changed places on Sunday. This
time Maren Lundby was fourth and came in ahead of
her Norwegian teammate Helena Smeby Olsson (5th).
Only 14-year-old Gianina Ernst was the best German
as sixth and just like Nina Lussi (7th) of the USA
she achieved the best result of her career so far.
With her two wins this weekend Ema Klinec also won
the overall ranking of the COC this summer with
the maximum of 200 points. Line Jahr and Jessica
Jerome share the second place with 140 points.
