Victory for Phillip Sjoeen in Oslo

The inofficial Norwegian Summer Championships on the normal hill took place on the Midtstubakken in Oslo on Sunday. The title went to Phillip Sjoeen, ahead of Joachim Hauer and Mats Berggaard.

The 17-year-old local hero of Oslo won the competition with jumps on 102 m and 103 m and a total of 285.4 points.

Joachim Hauer jumped on 100 m and 103 m (282.4 points) and moved up to second overall with the best jump in the final round. Mats Berggaard, second after the first round, came in third with 277.5 points (97 m and 99 m).

The best Norwegian jumpers did not take part in the Championships. The national team of head coach Alexander Stoeckl held a training camp in Trondheim last week and is now preparing for the upcoming Grand Prix competitions next weekend in Russia.

The women's competition was won by Line Jahr with 92 m and 97.5 m (217.9 points), ahead of Anette Sagen (93 m / 87 m; 198.4 points) and Maren Lundby (89.5 m / 89.5 m; 197.4 points).
