The inofficial Norwegian Summer Championships on
the normal hill took place on the Midtstubakken
in Oslo on Sunday. The title went to Phillip Sjoeen,
ahead of Joachim Hauer and Mats Berggaard.
The 17-year-old local hero of Oslo won the competition
with jumps on 102 m and 103 m and a total of 285.4
points.
Joachim Hauer jumped on 100 m and 103 m (282.4 points)
and moved up to second overall with the best jump
in the final round. Mats Berggaard, second after
the first round, came in third with 277.5 points
(97 m and 99 m).
The best Norwegian jumpers did not take part in
the Championships. The national team of head coach
Alexander Stoeckl held a training camp in Trondheim
last week and is now preparing for the upcoming
Grand Prix competitions next weekend in Russia.
The women's competition was won by Line Jahr with
92 m and 97.5 m (217.9 points), ahead of Anette
Sagen (93 m / 87 m; 198.4 points) and Maren Lundby
(89.5 m / 89.5 m; 197.4 points).
